Besprekorni dizajn Lotus stola
Portugalski dizajn studio UNDA slavi fascinantnu mitologiju stvaranjem Lotus stola. Pokušavajući da izrazi tranziciju iz zime u proleće, kada sve oživljava i ulazi u nov životni ciklus, dizajn se fokusira na detalje i glatke, elegantne kao-krem boje. Ovaj prelaz od hladnoće ka zagrevanju je opisan kao dve suprotstavljene krajnosti - jedan prikazuje led-kao geometriju, dok su ostalo cvetovi u finim detaljima: "Od novog života do smrti, od čistoće do strasti, Lotus imali mnogo značenja u mitovima i legendama. Oticanje iz nežnog pupoljka do punog cvata, cveće je povezano sa mladima, lepotom, uživanjem i sezonom proleća: sezona rasta i tranzicije. Ovaj sto želi da iskoristi upravo to: prelaz iz čvrste i hladne zime do cvetanja i radosnog proleća koje toliko volimo."Portugal-based design studio UNDA celebrate fascinating mythology by creating the Lotus Desk.Trying to express the transition from winter into spring, when everything is revived and enters a new life cycle, the design focuses on details and a smooth, elegant cream-like color. This transition from cold to warm is described by the two oposing ends – one displaying an ice-like geometry, while the other blossoms into fine details: “From new life to death, from purity to passion, Lotus have had many meanings in myths and legends. Swelling from tender bud to full bloom, flowers are associated with youth, beauty, pleasure and the season of Spring: the season of growth and transition. This Desk intends to capture exactly that: the transition from the hard and cold Winter to the blooming and joyful Spring which we love so much.”
