Belgrade expects new stage in EU expansion process
Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said on Tuesday that he expects the expansion of the European Union to enter a new stage.
“Serbia expects the process of expanding the EU to enter a new stage in which it would contribute to strengthening the Union,” Dacic said speaking at a ceremony on Serbian Diplomacy Day.
The Foreign Minister said the Serbian diplomatic service is focused on >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << preserving peace and stability, adding that Serbia wants to resolve the Kosovo problem through dialogue.
“We are saying clearly, like we have to date, that our commitment is to resolve this issue through dialogue, without favouring any side. The determination to continue the talks and refrain from reacting to recent provocation are the best indicators of our mature and wise behaviour,” Dacic said.
