Serbian military engaged in nine peace operations
Serbia has military personnel deployed in nine international peace operations, a senior defence ministry official told a conference on cooperation with NATO on Wednesday.
The ministry’s International Military Cooperation Department chief Milan Rankovic said that 279 Army of Serbia (VS) personnel were deployed with international missions, including 177 with the UNIFIL mission in Lebanon.
Serbia has cooperation with more than 60 countries and has signed 72 defense >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << agreements, he said.
“We organized 25 exercises in 2017 with the participation of 1,041 defense ministry and VS personnel. We are currently engaged in an exercise with the Romanian air force,” Rankovic said.
