Serbia’s Vucic: NATO-led KFOR purposely deceives public
Serbia’s President accused on Friday NATO-led KFOR of deliberately misleading the public regarding Kosovo’s police operation during which four Serbs were arrested on suspicion of being involved in a murder of a politician, the Beta news agency reported.
Aleksandar Vucic said that it was clear to everyone upon whose instructions the NATO representatives were lying. He didn’t elaborate.
A >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << statement from Vucic’s office said he and the Prime Minister Ana Brnabic asked the Chinese ambassador to Belgrade Li Manchang to inform Beijing that Serbia had never been in a more difficult situation.
It quoted Vucic as saying that happened "despite my constant calls for peace and stability coupled with a serious and responsible approach to solving all the problems.”
Brnabic added that Pristina's introduction of the 100 percent import taxes on goods from Serbia was an issue for the United Nations since the UNMIK (UN Administration in Kosovo) was one of the signatories.
She said she expected China's support in the UN, as well as the European Union reaction since the decision violated both CEFTA and the Stabilisation and Association agreements.
Li was quoted as saying China well understood what was happening in Kosovo and described it “as the already known scenario of the attacks on Serbia’s integrity.”
He added he would inform the Chinese President Xi Jinping during the day and that Serbia could count on China’s support.
No more reason for confidence in KFOR, Vucic says
