Stefanovic said on Thursday that the police have no information about Ljajic being part of some criminal group. “I personally can’t believe that,” he told MPs during a debate on internal affairs laws.
Ljajic told Belgrade daily Politika that the situation with Seselj in parliament “is worse than any reality show”. “I have been in politics for 30 years and have never had this happen and now I have to defend myself against these senseless accusations which every child knows are ordered, untrue and monstruous. If I keep quiet it’ll seem that I have no response and if I reply it looks like I’m trying to justify myself,” he said.
