Mutna kolekcija Marc-a Torp-a za Moroso otkrila je u oktobru u Soho salonu u Njujorku zanimljiv komad nameštaja. Blur sofa je presvučena pletenim materijalom koji prikazuje gradijent obrazac. Dizajner je opisao kao "sofu sa namerno neodređenim, nestajućim oblikom koji baca sumnju na racionalni koncept skale kao što je brisanje odnosa između prostora i zapremine. Ona se igra stvarajući osećaj nesigurnosti oko svoje veličine i oblika". Blur sofa donosi iznenađujući vizuelni efekat u sobi, njena originalnost dovodi do enterijera sa karakterom. Proizvod je razvijen na drvenom ramu prekrivenom poliuretanskom penom drugačije gustine. Cilj dizajnera i proizvođača "da pomere granice tehnologije, materijala, oblika i prostora" je uspešno postignut kroz ovaj divan dizajn koji intrigira i zbunjuje.Marc Thorpe‘s Blurred Collection for Moroso at the Soho showroom in NYC this October revealed an interesting furniture piece. Blur Sofa is covered in a knitted material displaying a gradient pattern. The designer described it as “a sofa with a deliberately indefinite, disappearing shape that casts doubt on the rational concept of scale as it cancels the relationship between space and volume. It plays on creating a feeling of uncertainty as to its size and shape“. Blur sofa brings a surprising visual effect to a room, its originality leading to interiors with character. The product was developed on a wooden frame covered with different-density polyurethane foam. The aim of both designer and manufacturer “to push the limits of technology, material, form and space” is successfully reached through this sofa design that intrigues and bewilders.
