Russian MiG-29 No.6 lands at Belgrade military airport

Russia delivered to Serbia the sixth MiG-29, a twin-engine jet fighter aircraft, which NATO refers to as Fulcrum, as a part of Moscow’s military-technical cooperation with Belgrade, the Sputnik website said.

The jet was first sent to Serbia in October 2017, and after the customs procedure it flew back to Russia for an overhaul in the 121st Avioremont Institute, and then returned to Belgrade's Batajnica airbase.

That MiG-29, originally made to combat any enemy >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << jet, was constructed in 1989 in the 9-13 version which was a bit more advanced compared to the old ones the former Yugoslav Air-force had received in 1987 and 1988.

Back in August, Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic visited the Batajnica airbase to attend the handover of the first two of six MiG-29 aircraft procured from Russia.
