Serbian president condemns weekly’s front page
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic condemned Belgrade weekly Ilustrovana Politika for its front page featuring the headline The Dogs Have Been Unleashed which has been interpreted as an attack on independent media.
“I saw the front page and as president of Serbia and an ordinary man I condemn it. This is not the public discourse that we want and I hope this won’t be repeated, at least not in those media in which the government has a share,” Vucic told TV Prva.

The Belgrade weekly’s latest issue features the head of a growling Rotweiller over the headline and copies of several independent dailies and weeklies behind it.
