Serbian Palic Film Festival awards presented
Belgian film director Lukas Dhont walked away with the Golden Tower for his Belgian-French co-production Girl at this year’s European Film Festival in Palic, the FoNet news agency reported.
The French film At War by Stéphane Brizé was given the FIPRESCI award for best film and the Palic Tower went to best director Rasmus Kloster Bro for his film Cutterhead.
The Jury of the Palic film festival assigned a Special Mention to the Spanish film Carmen & Lola directed by >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << Arantxa Echevarria.
A jury of the Federation of Film Critics of Europe and the Mediterranean (FEDEORA) gave its best film award in the Parallels and Encounters category to Hungarian director Laszlo Csuja for his film Blossom Valley.
Lifka Awards for contributions to European cinema went to actors Brian Cox and rade Serbedzija and the Underground Spirit Award to Italian director Tizza Covi and Austrian director Rainer Frimmel.
