"Slam Dunking” on TOP channel as of autumn
United Media announces with great pleasure the kick off of the shooting of another high profile series, this time in cooperation with Dragan Bjelogrlic (famous Serbia’s actor, director and producer), which will be aired on the TOP channel as of this autumn.
The series’ crew celebrated the start of the shooting in Belgrade.
The story is about two former best friends and co-players in once famous basketball team which is on the verge of a catastrophe and which >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << will pair the two in an attempt to bring the team out of the disaster.
This contemporary story, in fact, is about a second chance. The second chance for friendship, the second chance for father and son, for the ruined club, for the unrealised talents, the second chance in searching for happiness, for the generation whose best years have been eaten by locusts.
The creative part of the TonFilm production company will amuse its viewers with 45 episodes of the TV series on the TOP channel and roles played by a successful basketball manager who lost his heart (Nebojsa Dugalic), top basketball coach who lost his family (Filip Sovagovic), the owner of a gallery who lost her love (Dubravka Mijatovic), a newspaper editor who lost his ethics (Svetozar Cvetkovic), a literature professor whose marriage ended (Milica Zaric), talented basketball player who lost self-confidence (Aleksandar Radojcic), young cellist who lost her way in life (Iva Ilincic), young New yorker who finds herself in Belgrade (Miona Markovic), famous painter who lost inspiration (Zarko Lausevic), aged colonel who does not speak to his son (Marko Nikolic), retired builder who dreams about the Unaligned (Bogdan Diklic), old lawyer who dreams about monarchy (Predrag Ejdus), music producer (Zika Todorovic), math professor (Dragan Micanovic), a restaurant owner (Vesna Trivalic), lifetime club economy manager (Boda Ninkovic), PR “barracuda” (Borka Tomovic), clumsy club president (Nenad Herakovic), controversial businessman (Petar Bencina), construction business tycoon (Drasko Zidar), sports reporter (Iskra Jirsak), desparate housewife (Lucija Serbedzija) and the series’ heroes, young basketball players (Misa Dragicevic, Jovan Jovanovic, Vucic Perovic, Pavle Vrkljan, Milorad Kapor).
The team also includes: the author and the producer Dragan Bjelogrlic, co-producer Tomica Palikovic, series’ creator Marko Savic, executive producers Goran Bijelogrlic and Tatjana Zezelj, the series’ director Natasa Visic, the writers: Vladimir Kecmanovic, Sasa Podgorelec, Antonio Gabelic, Dusan Bulic, Marko Manojlovic, Kosta Pesevski and associating writer Ranko Bozic, the directors Srdjan Spasic and Danilo Beckovic.
The original music is composed by Sasa Losic, LP Duo and Anja Djordjevic.
