Democratic Party elects new leader
Zoran Lutovac was elected the Democratic Party (DS) leader on Saturday, winning against other two rivals Gordana Comic and Branislav Lecic.
Majority of the present 1,230 delegates elected Lutovac, as well as five party vice presidents, president of DS Political Council, members of the Main and Supervisory Boards as well as Statutory commission members.
Newly elected party leader earlier said >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << that DS lost the trust of citizens and that they had to work together on returning that trust.
According to him, the major reason why the party lost trust was that the same persons have been in the party leadership for years regardless of the achieved results.
