Serbia’s official: Meeting Putin – Vucic very important
Serbia’s President Secretary-General said on Monday that the Belgrade – Pristina talks were tough and painful and that the forthcoming meeting between presidents Aleksandar Vucic and Vladimir Putin was significant, the Beta news agency reported.
Nikola Selakovic added that he did not “expect anything new” from the talks between the Belgrade and Pristina delegation’s meeting in New Your during the UN General Assembly session.

“Regarding the Kosovo issue, Vucic was trying to find a real angle, a position that is difficult to find and defend to preserve the survival of the Serbs and Serbia’s interests there,” Selakovic told the Prva TV.
He added that Vucic – Putin meeting scheduled for the next week in Moscow was a significant event, adding he expected it to be a one-on-one meeting, but did not specify the agenda.
Vucic would be in Moscow in early October to meet Putin, according to Russia’s ambassador to Serbia Alexandar Chepurin.
