Envious number: 80.000 passengers were flying to New York in one year
Flight Belgrade - New York celebrates its first birthday today, and in a year, the wide "Airbus A330" flew nearly 80,000 passengers, writes "Novosti".
Over the past 12 months, Air Serbia has completed 204 return flights between Belgrade and New York with the strong and increasing airplane's availability.

The plane "Air Serbia" for New York flew on June 23, 2016 at 8.08 am and landed at Kennedy Airport at 11.45 AM.
"Our first flight was long awaited in Serbia and across Southeast Europe for two reasons, Serbia re-connected with the United States with the first flight operated by a domestic airline since 1992 and a regular Transatlantic air link with the United States", said Air Serbia, according to the newspaper.
The composition of guests is balanced with 47 percent of North America and 53 percent of Europe, and in the region, two thirds are people from Serbia, "Novosti".

"Air Serbia" explains that there is interest of passengers from neighboring countries, and that the reactions of the Serbian diaspora in North America are positive.
They say that with up to five flights a week this line represents a convenient option for both business and tourism trips.
This has influenced the increase in tourist visits from America, especially those that combine Belgrade and the Adriatic coast.
Air Serbia also points out that they have entered into a partnership with US carriers to improve connectivity and simplify travel.
They also said that the flight to New York has a positive impact on the trade, where the business of "Air Serbia" in the field of freight transport exceeds all expectations.
