Serbia's Def Min: NATO 1999 bombs killed international law
All security threats that imperil Europe are the consequence of a unipolar world “which resorts to force that justifies itself leading to the death of the intentional law,” Serbia’s Defence Minister said on Thursday, the Beta news agency reported.
Addressing the international Sangshang forum in Beijing, Aleksandar Vulin said that “the international law died” when NATO bombed the then Federal Republic of Yugoslavia consisting of Montenegro, Serbia and Kosovo >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << in 1999, without the UN Security Council decision.
"The South-Eastern European region, as the big part of the world, is hit by Islamic fundamentalism, migrant crisis and the return of the unipolar mentality, and all our problems could fit into one sentence – the death of the international law,” Vulin, who took part in the forum upon the invitation by the Chinese minister of national defence, said.
He added that Kosovo should not be admitted to Interpol because of international safety.
The eight forum meeting gathered some 500 participants from 72 countries and international organisation. It was first organised in 2006 as a platform for a dialogue on Asia-Pacific security.
