NATO jets patrol Montenegrin skies
Two Greek F-16 jets and two Italian Eurofighters safeguard the airspace above the NATO’s newest member state Montenegro, within the Alliance’s mission, Athens paper reported on Tuesday.
The control will last until Podgorica gets “relevant technical possibilities,” I Kathimerini daily said.
Greek and Italian jets will change shifts every fortnight.

NATO officially welcomed Montenegro as its 29th member on June 5, 2017, two years after the formal invitation to the country to join the North Atlantic Alliance.
