SERBIAN SCIENTISTS REQUEST ANNULMENT OF PHD DEGREE OF MILJANA RADIVOJEVIC
A group of Serbian scientists and academics sent all information about
Miljana Radivojevic’s plagiarism in her PhD thesis to the UK Ministry of Education,
UCL authorities, Archaeological Institute of Cambridge University and to some of
MPs.
As it is already widely known, she got her PhD degree from the University College London (UCL) copying almost all text from the huge project on Archaeometallurgy >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu Press << in Vinča Culture, which is being done by Serbian National Museum in Belgrade. One of the Project directors, Duško Šljivar, in his deep analysis of Miljana Radivojevic’s plagiarism, says (Starinar LXV/2015):
Such improvisations are present throughout the text, accompanied by approximate observations in conclusive discussion, without quoting the authors who dealt with this problem for decades and who, more or less, and from different standpoints, pointed to the metallurgical aspects of Vinča culture. Despite violations of copyrights due to manipulation of findings and due to numerous technical errors, this work is a compilation of already published papers on the metallurgy of the Vinča culture and illustrated appendixes.
Since Miljana Radivojevic has commited one of the biggest plagiarism in the UK and since her PhD thesis has no value as original scientific work – a group of Serbian scientists requests annulment of her PhD degree.
