Dacic says relations with ruling Serbian party good
Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) leader Ivica Dacic told N1 on Wednesday that his party’s relations with the the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) are good, adding that the SPS is a reliable partner to President Aleksandar Vucic’s SNS.
Asked to comment Vucic’s statement a day earlier that “the SPS would never >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << quit the government” but would change partners given a chance, Dacic said: “If we leave the government who is going to defend him”.
The foreign minister said the president is constantly teasing him because he has spent 25 of his 28 years in politics in the government at some level. “I see this as a good thing because we all fight to play in the major leagues.
As for the SPS, we are a reliable partner and my relations with Vucic are friendly. We are linked by politics and I heartily advocate those policies,” Dacic said.
