Dacic not surprised by threats against Serbian President
Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said on Friday that he is not surprised by the threats made against President Aleksandar Vucic.
Speaking on the state TV (RTS) morning news, Dacic said the threats are not surprising considering the demonization of everyone involved in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue. “There is a high degree of both hatred and an irrational madness around us on this issue,” the >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << Foreign Minister said.
A solution to the Kosovo issue is in Serbia’s national interest and these threats are inflicting damage, he said.
Dacic said the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue will intensify because European Union officials want the issue resolved before their terms in office expire next year. He added that the format of the dialogue will probably not be changed.
Whoever says it’s too late to divide Kosovo is either against division or does not know the situation or perhaps wants to get Kosovo back through war, the Serbian foreign minister said.
