Brnabic: Digitalization to bring Serbia closer to EU
Serbia’s Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said on Tuesday that she believes digitalization will help Serbia draw closer to the European Union.
Speaking at an OECD forum in Paris, Brnabic said that digitalization has huge potential in Serbia and will help raise the level of economic growth and competitiveness on Serbia’s road to the EU.
“This is the fourth industrial revolution and it provides a series of opportunities for economies like Serbia’s,” she said, >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << adding that digitalization is her government’s first priority.
“My goal is to transform the Serbian economy from an investment-based to an innovative economy,” the prime minister said.
Serbia also wants to create the best possible environment for the blockchain industry and use it in its public administration, she said and added that some of the best blockchain technology companies in the world are Serbian.
