US commerce secretary meets Ljajic, Brnabic
US Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross met in Belgrade on Friday with Serbian Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Minister Rasim Ljajic for talks on promoting overall economic relations, the Serbian government press service said.
A press release added that they also discussed opportunities to increase trade and in tourism.
Ross is quoted as saying that Serbia is interesting to new American investors. >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << He also announced the arrival of Silicon Valley companies which plan to invest in the IT sector. Ljajic and Ross discussed Serbia’s path towards the World Trade Organization.
The US embassy in Belgrade tweeted that Ross also discussed trade with Prime Minister Ana Brnabic.
