Dacic: No reason for early election
The Leader of Serbia’s Socialist Party (SP) Ivica Dacic said he sees no reason for early general election in the country.
"You know we’ve had a number of elections, recently. I personally couldn’t think of one thing this government did in the past to cause a new election, on the contrary. I can’t find a single valid reason to request an early election," Dacic said.
However, he pointed >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << out that his party is ready for the election and that they would certainly achieve a good result.
"You know I was always sceptical about frequent elections, but I wouldn’t mind. I’m always ready for a new election," he added.
According to him, the opposition is constantly playing games and after any election they would say the election was not fair and they would request a new election.
"The job of the opposition is to demand new elections, but in this case they are praying to god that the election is not held. Thus the election is sort of a shock therapy and in spite of being a shock therapy, I always love a new election," Dacic concluded.
