Serbia’s PM thanks US President for understanding
Ana Brnabic, Serbia’s Prime Minister, said she had thanked the US President Donald Trump for his understanding of her country’s views, the Beta news agency reported on Tuesday.
Brnabic said he had met Trump briefly, during the traditional reception at the United Nations ahead of the start of the UN General Assembly meeting.
“I can’t say we had a chance for a long talk, but I thanked him on behalf of our citizens for a new perception of Serbia and >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << an openness toward Serbia, so that our voice is heard and our stance understood,” Brnabic told the state RTS television.
She leads Belgrade delegation in New York for and will address the General Assembly on Thursday.
