Criminal group plans to kill reporter, Montenegro police say
Montenegro’s police said on Monday they had some “operational data” that a local criminal group had planned to assassinate the Vijesti daily journalist Olivera Lakic, the Beta news agency reported.
The police deputy director Enis Bakovic told reporters that the members of the group were not in Montenegro and added that the police had only some operational data and that he could not give any more details.
Lakic was shot in a leg in May outside her home, at the same place where she suffered previous attack in 2012.
No perpetrators or plotters of those attacks have been found.
