JOKIC SAID NO TO SERBIA: He talked with Djordjevic and he finally discovered that he won’t be playing on Eurobasket!
Serbia remains without one of the greatest players on the upcoming Eurobasket, because Nikola Jokic definitely decided not to play for the "Eagles" on the championship in Turkey.
According to the Zurnal, the center of Denver talked with selector Aleksandar Djordjevic and has told him that he can not respond to the call of the national team.

The uncertainty about Jokic playing on Eurobasket has practically lasted since he finished >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu Telegraf.rs << the season in the NBA league. Denver's leaders apparently did not explicitly forbid the Serbian international to compete for the national team, but they advised him to devote this summer to himself, which was originally announced by his manager Misko Raznatovic, who said that only this summer is important for Nikola, and that for the next 5 or 10 there would be no problem to respond to the representation invitation.
Jokic himself did not want to comment on the situation regarding possible participation in the Eurobasket when the journalists asked him the question, and did not respond even after the larger list he was on. Uncertainty lasted until now, in fact, before of the shortening of the list.
Selector Aleksandar Djordjevic should shorten a broader list of 25 candidates for the Eurobasket in the coming days, and it is certain that Serbian center won't be there on the gathering of national teams on 20 July, about whom the entire Serbia believed he will resist the pressure from Denver and that he will play for Serbia.
There is no doubt that Serbia will be significantly weaker without Jokic playing, and with him on the team, considering the phenomenal season he had in NBA league, Serbia would be one of the greatest favorites for the gold. Let's remind that almost all teams are coming with their strongest teams, especially Spaniards, where all NBA stars responded the call, lead by Gasol brothers, so Serbia will have a very difficult time reaching the shiniest medal.
