Serbia’s Min: Bosniaks won't meet Pacolli

Serbia's Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic said on Friday that it seemed that the meeting between Kosovo’s Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli and Bosniak's National Council representative (BNV) in Novi Pazar would not take place.

"We won’t allow Serbia’s destabilisation”, Stefanovic said, commenting the information of Pacolli’s request to visit the town of  Novi Pazar with the predominantly Bosniak population.

Pacolli, who is also Kosovo’s >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << Deputy Prime Minister, said on Thursday that he asked for Belgrade’s permission to officially visit Novi Pazar and Sandzak on July 21 and 22.

Bosniak National Council (BNV) earlier invited Pacolli to attend their session and debate “The process of establishing regional balance and cooperation in Balkan.”

BNV’s invitation provoked criticism in Serbian public, mainly because Pacolli was invited in his capacity in Kosovo.

“It’s better to talk about cooperation than jungle around with weapons and stories about the past”, said Stefanovic. He added that he would like to see more collaboration and peace-making in the region. “We want to build a better future, and we don’t want any harm to anyone, but we are capable of defending our nation”, said Stefanovic.
