US Ambassador denies reports on division of Kosovo
US Ambassador in Pristina Grew Delawie denied media reports that he said Washington was not rejecting the possibility that a division of territory could be discussed in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, calling the reports fake news.
Delawie tweeted that the “fake news” should be ignored and provided a link to a transcript of his interview to Pristina’s Rubikon TV on the US embassy web site.

Rubikon TV anchor Adriatik Kelmendi asked the ambassador if he could exclude partition or not and Delawie replied: “I am saying that I’m not going to talk about what an element of the final deal will be.
Replying to another question about a possible final solution for a Belgrade-Pristina agreement, the ambassador said: “I’m not going to get at what could be the elements of a deal, of an agreement, at this point.”
