The United Nations celebrates its 68th anniversary
Belgrade, 24 October 2013 – The United Nations in Serbia celebrated yesterday the 68th anniversary of entry into force of the United Nations Charter in 1948 at Aero club in Belgrade. This year’s celebration of the UN Day in Serbia was hosted by Mr. Ivica Dačić, the Prime Minister to the Republic of Serbia, Ms. Irena Vojáčková-Sollorano, the UN Resident Coordinator and Mr. Peter N. Due, the Representative of the Secretary General and Head of UN Office in Belgrade. The event was dedicated to the celebration of the successfully implemented national consultations “Serbia We Want 2015” and Serbia’s participation in global development processes.
