CNN: Trump, Kim to meet in Singapore
US President Donald Trump tweeted on Thursday that he will meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on June 12th in Singapore, CNN reported.
"The highly anticipated meeting between Kim Jong Un and myself will take place in Singapore on June 12th," Trump tweeted.
"We will both try to make it a very special moment for World Peace!" The summit, which has been in the works since Trump accepted Kim's >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << invitation to meet in March, will be the first-ever meeting between a sitting US president and North Korean leader.
CNN said that the announcement came a day after North Korea released three imprisoned Americans during US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's visit to Pyongyang.
