Vucic asks Merkel for help with regional projects
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has asked German Chancellor Angela Merkel to help speed up two projects which he feels are of huge importance to the Western Balkans.
A press release from the Serbian President’s cabinet said that Vucic asked Merkel in a telephone conversation for help in speeding up the construction of the Nis-Pristina highway and the establishment of a regional economic zone.
It said that they discussed the London summit and the promoting >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << of regional cooperation and added that the Serbian President singled out the regional economic zone as a project of crucial importance to both Serbia and the region which would attract more investments and speed up the flow of people, goods, capital and services.
The press release said that Vucic and Merkel discussed the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue and the migrant crisis.
