Serbia’s officials: Rejection risky, West supports Pristina
Serbia's official say Kosovo’s refusal to continue the Belgrade – Pristina dialogue was dangerous and irresponsible, adding Pristina had the Western support for the move.
Speaking to Serbia's state RTS television, Marko Djuric, chief of Serbia’s Government Office for Kosovo said on Wednesday the Pristina leaders' recent statements contradicted the idea >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << of a dialogue and led to a dead end, accusing Kosovo of ignoring the accepted obligations.
Nebojsa Stefanovic, the Interior Minister, added Pristina did not act on its own and said he expected a reaction from Brussels. Where is all this leading? To treat the dialogue with frivolity and to avoid the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities," Stefanovic told reporters.
Djuric said that "the chief Pristina’s negotiator (Avni Arifi) uses inconceivable words that remain without any comment, while many should have something to say. He openly and publicly says that Pristina has no intention whatsoever to implement obligations it accepted, proving that it believes that everything is allowed to them.”
Kosovo technical delegation chief Arifi refused an invitation from the European Union to take part in a meeting on the Community of Serb Municipalities (CSM) in Brussels later this week.
Pristina demands that the energy agreement tops the agenda instead of the CSM which Belgrade insists on.
