“The drugs that are coming are hazardous. It takes a tablet or two to cause death,” Loncar warned.
In the last month, four young people in Serbia died of an overdose.
According to Loncar, the Commission would be tasked with taking secondary schools' students to the institutions for rehabilitation of drug users and organise first aid training for the clubs’ and barge restaurants’ owners to be able to help in overdose cases before the medics come.
“We aim to show the children that they do not have to taste or consume drugs to join certain social circles,” Loncar told the RTS.
He added that young people should learn how important it was to report drug dealers and those they knew were addicted.
