Serbian anti-drug commission to draw up plan for schools

The Serbian government’s commission to combat drugs in schools said on Tuesday it would draw up a program to teach children about the damage drugs can cause.

The commission, chaired by Health Care Minister Zlatibor Loncar, said it would invest efforts to raise awareness about drugs, especially synthetic drugs which are increasingly present among young people.

It added that the program it plans to draw up will be implemented in every school in the country.

The commission consists of Serbian government ministers, psychologists, psychiatrists, prosecutors and police officers experienced in combatting drug trafficking.
