Pristina's FM: No proof of withdrawals of Kosovo recognition
Behgjet Pacolli, Kosovo’s Foreign Minister, said on Monday there was no proof that any country had withdrawn its recognition of Kosovo’s independence.
Speaking to reporters ahead of the start of the European Union summit on Western Balkans, Pacolli said he was “delighted” that Kosovo was an equal participant with other states at the fifth gathering >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << within the Berlin Process and that the suggested topics were interesting.
“There is no the withdrawal of the recognition, and we have no problems with countries that have recognised Kosovo’s independence. We have not received any diplomatic note about the annulment of the recognition. All our friends are with us,” Pacolli added.
Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said on Thursday that Papua New Guinea had annulled its decision to recognise Kosovo.“The 6th country to withdraw its recognition of the independence of Kosovo is Papua New Guinea,” Dacic told a media conference called to mark the government’s 100 days in office.
