Serbian, Chinese PMs discuss strategic partnerships
Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic met with her Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang a day before the summit of east European and Chinese leaders in Bulgaria’s capital Sofia on Friday.
The two prime ministers are reported to have discussed promoting their cooperation and strategic partnership with Brnabic saying that she personally sent a letter expressing interest in acceding to the Asian Infrastructure-Investment Bank.
According to a Serbian government press release, the >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << prime ministers said that political relations between the two countries are excellent and characterised by a comprehensive strategic partnership with mutual trust and support.
Brnabic is reported to have said that Serbia needs strategic partners in the economy and added that she would like the Mining and Smelting Combine (RTB) Bor and the Ikarbus vehicle maker to get strategic partners like the Chinese HBIS Group which bought the Smederevo steel plant.
