ALXANDAR
Alxandar was born in Vrsac, Serbia in 1975 as Aleksandar Brankovic. He’s been playing with music since he was a kid, on famous cassette decks Technics RSB-X 965 first professional decks used to perform music in the clubs all over the world. During his grove also he shows interests in, further, new upcoming technologies and start playing music on SL 1200 MK2 Technics turntable decks.
HI-FI quality of sound performing on the vinyl made his love for vinyl strong and respectable, in the many years of playing music his collection grove over 5.000 vinyl’s, of all recordings labels: Poker Flat, Plastic City, Defected, Great Stuff, Freerange, Azulli, Ovum, Cocoon and many more. His DJ-ing career started in 1993, when he bought his first decks, and since then, he has been working in clubs all over Serbia, numerous radio shows.
In year 2006 he opened his own club in hometown Vrsac first underground club in it. With a lot of friends’ musicians, artists and book writers they create a nongovernment cultural organization named “RAFINERY” as the name of his club. Together they recording the compilation of music from, HIP-HOP to Indie Rock and Ambient music, all their ideas were sponsored by ERSTE bank. Also organizing many concerts during the vine festival where he perform with known DJ’s and producers as it is Subotic, Kruko, Gramofondzije & DJ Fatboy.
Till he is come to Dubai he is also work back by back with one of the famous techno DJ and producer Marko Nastic.
His sets are followed and inspired by the people on the dance floor, varying from deep and tech house, over minimal house, to techno . And still performing on the turntable decks SL 1200 MK2.
FATBOY
Fatboy (Vladan Radosavljević) was born in 1977 in Serbia. He developed his musical tastes listening to music on the radio & TV back in the 80`s and the 90`s. Music played a big part in his early life, as he found it to be the easiest form of expression. After managing to buy his first set of decks, he never looked back. In the beginning, he experimented with a deeper funky-house style, along with some rare retro-electro tunes, and other stuff that wasn't usually played at the local club. In year 2003 Fatboy spent six months playing at &Ku-Bu' club/lounge in Dubai along with resident DJ Paul (UK). His passion for music went a lot further than just spinning tunes. In 2005 Fatboy started his now widely recognized &CLUBNIGHT' show on &ONEWAY 88.8FM' DJ radio in Vršac. Clubnight focused on showcasing a diverse range of underground house, techno and other forms of electronic music and strived to promote DJ scene and clubbing by hosting live sets and interviews from country's top DJs and producers. He also writes articles and reviews for “Urban Bug” magazine and “Rush” e-zine. The tunes Fatboy plays can be very diverse: you can expect to hear anything from Chicago & San Francisco chunky-funky & jazzy house rhythms to deep house sub-grooves with funky, electro and dubby elements.
COOKIE
Bojan Kukic, also known as cookie, is a DJ from Serbia, born in Vrsac in the year 1987. Bojan grew up listening to various genres of music, but mostly rock and roll, influenced by his father. During his teenage days he began listening to house music, and at the end of high school he goes to the his first major party, his first EXIT festival, which was crucial in his musical development.
Passing through the various genres of electronic music, he liked deep house and tech house the most, and has a great passion for techno.
Today, Bojan is a part of two music organisations: 'Music Planet Team' and 'Funky Business' and also a resident DJ in a local club, but also collaborates with other local DJs, as a member of the Association VŠ DJ Syndicate. Successful as a student, soon he will graduate as IT Major, thinking which way to go in the near future.
DORIAN
Dorian Čoban, also known as DJ Dorian, is a DJ from Vršac, Serbia. Having been introduced to electronic music in the late 2006, Dorian decided to try out as a DJ at the local clubs where he had positive reviews and critics on behalf of his mixing technique. 2007 and 2008 were welcomed with a lot of residencies, events, parties and also a few club openings by Dorian.
After a brief pause with his DJ career and thinking what he should be next doing in the future, in the summer of 2010 he decided do a small comeback and with the help of the other fellow DJ artists create an organization called &Funky Business' which will hopefully be the start of something fresh and new, supporting the Serbian DJ scene.
DJing is mostly a hobby to Dorian, his auditive skills on which he relies by night are being replaced by the visual ones during the day - he's a bachelor student in Graphic Design and Photography. During his studies in Timişoara he had discovered other genres of electronic music such as Ghettofunk and Dubstep, of which he is an avid listener. While different electronic genres have broadened his musical knowledge, he remains true to house music. His sets are inspired by everyday experiences and interactions and usually vary from deep, smooth and stylish house music to more groovy, tribal-tech house filled with percussions and funky disco samples.

&Funky Business' is a DJ organization and event promoter created by a group of friends and DJs. Established in the summer of 2010, Funky Business is always looking to promote new talents by organizing local promo events known as &Bring Your Own Drink' - a gathering of friends and electronic music lovers.
