Heroic move by Kolasinac: He defied the doctors’ advises so he could perform in Belgrade, now he needs a surgery!

Asmir Kolasicac was a true hero on the European Indoor Athletic championship in Belgrade. He defied injury he had, but also the doctors' advises, just so he could perform on the great competition held in his country.

- I didn't manage to pull through. This is a big disappointment for me. I hoped to be at least in the top eight because of all the people who trust and follow my footsteps, but i failed. The injury is great and i will probably have to go to the surgery after this. Kolasinac performed after receiving two injections and defied doctors' advises, who insisted that he should not compete so he doesn't endanger his health.

Asmir's move is worth more than a medal, and it is a great shame he did not have the opportunity to fight for it, with the ovation of the home audience. Hats down and quick recovery!
