Croat said from the Arena: My thanks to the Serbian audience, Belgrade rules!

It didn't take long for Ivan Horvat to thank the audience he had in Belgrade during the competition in the European Indoor Championship.

Croatian pole vaulter has gained sympathy with Serbian audience even during Balkaniad, and he had support of his fans from his homeland during the European Championship.

- I have to thank those who came from Osijek to cheer for me. Every jump was for them. I would like to thank Serbian audience that cheered for me, i bow to everybody and >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu Telegraf.rs << i send my sincere gratitude. It was great even after "Serbia Open" and after Balkaniad, and i can't wait to get back here. Belgrade rules. I will come on Saturday and on Sunday, and applaud when the medals are there. I will cheer for everybody - said the Croat.

Despite the support, Horvat took only 6th place.
