Concession agreement for Belgrade airport not yet published

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said that the contract awarding French infrastructure group Vinci a concession to run Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla airport can be found on the website of the Ministry of Finance, but Transparency Serbia said today this is not true.

"The contract with Vansi has been published in a form that could be made public on the site of the Ministry of Finances, I mean, the Commission of Private-public Partnerships. All essential points of the contract have been >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << published,” Brnabic said, answering a lawmaker’s question on Thursday.

However, Transparency Serbia said this was not true and that the contract could not be found at the Ministry’s website or on the Commission’s website. Some of the details of the Contract were published on the Public Procurement site but not the contract itself or any of its annexes.

The government signed the contract on March 22 in Belgrade, awarding Vansi with the concession to run the airport for 25 years in exchange for 501 million Euro and the obligation to invest 732 million into it.
