Serbian President not optimistic on Kosovo
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday he is not too optimistic over the Kosovo issue but added that a solution has to be found.
“It’s important to talk about the future and try to solve that problem regadless of my bitterness… I am not too optimistic but I will fight for life to win,” he told reporters in Skoplje where he is attending a meeting of Western Balkans leaders.

Maybe I’m not the best person for this at the moment… If it isn’t me, it will be someone else but Serbia has to continue the dialogue,” he said referring to the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue under European Union auspices to normalize relations between Serbia and Kosovo.
“Everyone has left seeking a better life because many people in the Balkans think we should be fighting among ourselves,” the Serbian president said, adding that he would personally do everything to stop that vicious circle.
“We had an exchange [Kosovo President Hashim] Thaci and I. Thaci said we didn’t implement the energy agreement which does not exist,” Vucic said.
