Belgrade official: No solution for Kosovo amid war threats
Marko Djuric, the head of Serbia’s Government Office for Kosovo, said on Friday that an overall solution to the Kosovo issue in the Belgrade – Pristina dialogue was not possible amid threats of war against Serbia, Bosnia’s Serb Srna news agency reported.
Srna carried Djuric’s statement to the state Tanjug news agency in which he said that it was time >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << for a definite answer (from the European Union) to those threats because it was agreed in Brussels “that the war threats won’t solve the issue of Kosovo.”
Kosovo’s Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj and the head of Pristina negotiating team Avni Arifi separately warned that the division of Kosovo would mean war and that armed conflict was inevitable if anyone thought about redesigning the borders in the Western Balkans.
