Dacic: US policy towards Serbia and Kosovo has changed
The US’ support for dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo will help us reach a solution, said Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Daccic, adding that the negotiation format will not be enlarged.
Speaking to the press in the US Ambassador’s residence in Belgrade Dacic said that Kosovo’s previous policy has failed and that Serbia never had a better position in relation to all the major powers. Dacic said the US policy towards Serbia and Kosovo was on “autopilot” so far but that this has changed with the arrival of Wess Mitchell as Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia. He added that those who say that Kosovo is 100 percent Serbian are wrong, but so are those who say that it is 100 percent independent.
