Serbians want a united opposition

People across Serbia want the opposition to unite, Serbian Left party leader Borko Stefanovic told N1 on Monday.

“Wherever you go in Serbia, people are saying clearly that they want to opposition to unite,” he said on the Novi Dan morning show.

He said the opposition Alliance for Serbia has a list of 30 goals in a precise, well thought out programme platform which includes combating “the policy of poverty imposed by the regime”, opposing preferential treatment >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << for foreign investors, free elections, freedom of the media, Kosovo and other issues.

“This is an alliance of people with a conscience who want to change Serbia for the better and we are together to be able to form a transitional government which will allow everyone to freely join in the political competition at free elections,” Stefanovic said, adding that the Alliance for Serbia is not an ad hoc gathering opposed to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
