Serbian Defence Minister wants KFOR view on Kosovo military

Serbian Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin said on Friday he would be meeting KFOR representatives to discuss the laws allowing the forming of Kosovo military forces which the parliament in Pristina adopted a day earlier.

Vulin told the Serbian state TV (RTS) that an exchange of information had been underway overnight, adding that President Aleksandar Vucic had a number of conversations over the adopting of those laws. >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << “I am certain that the president will take the best possible decision,” the defence minister said, replying when asked if Vucic would accept advice from his associates to declare a state of occupation.

He said that now it is up to the international community to stop the forming of a military of Kosovo. “Now is the time to see if the international community is capable of implementing its own mandates and decisions,” Vulin said.

The Defence Minister said that Serbia signed the Brussels Agreement because it received guarantees that there would be no armed forces in kosovo. “Pristina is destabilizing the situation in Kosovo in this way,” he said.
