Serbian Defence Minister slams KFOR over Gazivode events
Serbian Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin said on Wednesday that KFOR knew what was happening when Kosovo President Hashim Thaci went to Gazivode lake but did nothing.
Vulin told the Serbian state TV (RTS) that KFOR “played deaf and dumb” over the events at Gazivode.

President Aleksandar Vucic responded ordering the Serbian military to raise its combat readiness level. KFOR issued a statement saying that ROSU had not deployed and that the Kosovo police and Thaci’s security detail were in the Gazivode area.
Vulin said that combat readiness levels would be lowered once the situation is assessed to be calmer. That decision will be taken following talks between Chief of Staff General Milan Mojsilovic and President Vucic.
