Pletenje se retko povezuje s nečim, najviše sa kičom ili barem zastarelim stilovima nameštaja, koji se koriste gotovo isključivo za pokrivanje komada, pre nego da ih drže zajedno. U ovoj patchwork drvenoj lounge stolici, međutim, nacrt strategije je sasvim drukčiji: oblikovane drvene pločice su čvrsto omotane konop materijalom, a njihova struktura vrlo zavisi od tkanine koja ispunjava praznine.Knitting is rarely associated with anything but the most kitsch or at least outdated styles of furniture, used almost exclusively to cover pieces rather than hold them together. In this patchwork wooden lounge chair, however, the design strategy is entirely different: shaped wood strips are bound with tightly-wrapped rope material, their very structure dependent upon the fabric that fills the gaps.
