Serbia’s NALED gets new chief
Former Apatin Brewery (Molson Coors Brewing Company) CEO Vladimir Novakovic has been appointed head of the Serbian National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NALED).
Thursday’s press release said that Novakovic, a member of the NALED board before the appointment, comes to the post with years of experience as CEO and sales manager in several companies.
“NALED has defined six key goals for the 2018-2020 >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << period. Its priorities are reducing the grey economy, modernizing the tax system, upgrading e-administration and e-commerce, reforms of the registries and planning and construction procedures, improving conditions to develop the agriculture and food industries, develop the health care sector and strengthen international competitiveness and regional cooperation,” Novakovic is quoted as saying.
NALED was formed in 2006 as an independent association working to improve the economic environment which has become the biggest private-public association in Serbia and a key partner to the government. Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic headed NALED before she was appointed minister in the Serbian government.
Serbian central bank keeps key policy rate unchanged
