Information about NGO “Family Care” Beograd-Belgrade

“Family Care” is non-governmental organization, established more than 15 years ago, with about 130 members , a lot of associates and volunteers.

Achieving a goal of our Organization is enabled by a big number of experts, such as: Doctors, Psychiatrists, Special educators, Economists, Lawyers, Sociologists and others.

Our goal is promotion of health in a family and society, through medical and psycho-social programs.

Organization is realizing its program’s mission through:

1. Mobile Health Clinics;
2. Family Health Centre;
3. Counseling office for children with special needs;
4. Counseling for Roma families.

One of our projects, which still goes on; is regarding to the problems of Roma children and this project is “Affirmation of talented young Roma and their inclusion into civil society"- book “Pisem ti pismo po istinu Delfina” about young Roma author deaf girl Delfina Ferizovic, by the authors Violeta Nestorov and Stevan Nestorov,supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation SDC., and the second project is “Healthy to a better life” by the authors Ljiljana Abramović Savić, M.D. Ph.D., Violeta Nestorov, Graduate Spec. Ed. Teacher, Speech Pathologist and Stevan Nestorov, Graduate Spec. Ed. Teacher, Surdologist. (Partner in the execution of the project: Municipality New Belgrade, supported by the Embassy of Switzerland in Serbia - Belgrade)
