UN chief looking into UNMIK exit strategy initiative
UN Secretary-General António Guterres is looking into the US initiative on an exit strategy for UNMIK, the Beta news agency said it was told by sources in the United Nations headquarters on Friday.
Asked about the letter from US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley, a source in the office of the secretary-general’s spokesperson said that “the secretary-general has seen the letter and is considering it”.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said earlier this week that the withdrawal of UNMIK and the forming of a Kosovo military place Serbia in a very difficult position in which it has no choice but to protect its people.
