Soros grateful for Serbia’s support to his NGO
Aleksandar Soros, the Vice President of the Foundation for open society’s Managing board, told Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic in Belgrade on Friday that his NGO would continue to support Belgrade’s reforms and democratic processes on the way to the European Union, the Beta news agency reported.
Soros, the son of an American-Hungarian billionaire George Soros, thanked Vucic for the support his NGO had in Serbia.
The two discussed the regional situation and the >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << NGO’s support to Serbia in reforming the media and the rule of law and the backing of the regional economic zone.
Vucic briefed the NGO’s delegation about the situation in Kosovo and the progress in the Belgrade – Pristina dialogue, and Soros welcomed the role Serbia had in keeping stability in the West Balkans.
