Serbia’s public debt grows in 2018
Serbia’s public debt rose in the first three months of the year compared to the end of 2017 but was lower in terms of percentage of the GDP, the Serbian Finance Ministry said on Monday.
The public debt at the end of March stood at 23.72 billion Euro, or 59 percent of the GDP, up from 23.22.billion Euro or 61.5 percent of the GDP at the end of December 2017, the ministry said.

Serbia’s public debt has gone from a low of 8.78 billion Euro or 28.3 percent of the GDP in 2008 to a high of 24.82 billion Euro or 71.9 percent of the GDP in December 2016.
